The Movement Disorder Society has presented new recommendations on the treatment of motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (Fox et al. Mov Disord 2011;26:S2-S41). The evidence-based review updates recommendations published in 2002 and 2004 (Goetz et al. Mov Disord 2002;17[suppl 4]:S1-S166; Goetz et al. Mov Disord 2005;20:523-539).
