Novel anti-CD20 monoclonal approved in Canada for MS
January 27, 2021Ofatumumab (Kesimpta), a new anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, has received approval from Health Canada for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients with active disease defined by clinical and imaging features. In clinical trials, active disease was defined as at least one relapse or one Gd-enhancing lesion in the previous year.
