Estimating duration of work ability with motor symptom onset

 

REPORT FROM THE 2009 AAN ANNUAL MEETING – A U.S. study of 1134 consecutive patients with Parkinson’s disease has estimated that individuals can continue to work for about 10 years after the onset of motor symptoms (Jasinska-Myga et al. AAN 2009; abstract P06.166).
